Nick Vlasidis believes real estate is ultimately about people.
Raised in Flushing, Queens, and Paramus, New Jersey, Nick brings an East Coast work ethic to everything he does: work hard, keep your word, communicate directly, and never be outworked. His Greek heritage gave him an equally important value: filoxenia, the tradition of genuine hospitality, generosity, and service to others.
That combination has shaped the way Nick approaches real estate and the culture behind Vlasidis & Co.
A Realtor since 2006, Nick has called Columbus home for more than 20 years and also maintains strong ties to Tampa, which he considers his second home. Before committing to real estate full-time in 2017, Nick spent years as an entrepreneur, including owning a successful Subway franchise and operating a painting business with his brother. Those experiences taught him that exceptional service, preparation, and attention to detail aren't extras. They're the foundation of a successful business.
Nick brings that same mentality to every real estate transaction.
He believes in doing the work and trusting the process. From preparing and positioning a home for the market to marketing, communication, negotiation, and the countless details that happen behind the scenes, Nick stays personally involved and believes no task is beneath him if it helps his client achieve a better outcome.
Some days that means negotiating a complex contract. Other days it might mean meeting a painter, checking on photography, moving furniture, calling a contractor, or simply picking up the phone to make sure a client is doing okay and knows exactly what's happening next.
Above everything else, Nick genuinely loves people. He believes relationships come before transactions and that every client deserves to feel heard, valued, protected, and cared for, regardless of the price of the home.
That philosophy is at the heart of Vlasidis & Co.
Homes are what we sell. People are who we serve.
And to Nick, luxury has never simply been about expensive homes.
Luxury isn't defined by the price of the home. It's defined by the level of service you receive.
